• Demo data only. Records in the demo are fictional or taken from public sources. Do not enter information about real clients or investors.
• Not advice. Nothing on this site or in the prototype is legal, regulatory or compliance advice.
• AI output is an unverified draft. It may be incomplete or wrong, and may match the wrong person. Every finding must be checked against its source by a qualified person.
• No decisions are automated. Approving an investor, rating risk and accepting a client remain the responsibility of the firm and its compliance officers.
• Pre-screening results are not stored. They are generated for your session and shown on screen only. When you leave the page, they are gone, unless you sign in to Unikorn KYC and send them there.
• Third-party services are used. To run a pre-screening, the search terms are sent to external services: sanctions and PEP data providers, search engines and an AI model provider. Each processes them under its own terms.
• Limited availability. The pre-screening is switched on for demonstrations and runs a limited number of checks each day. When the limit is reached, it is unavailable until the next day.
• Coverage is limited. News is searched in English only. Company registries cover the United Kingdom only (Companies House). Up to ten news articles are assessed in each pre-screening; others found are listed but not assessed. A clear result means nothing was found in these sources on that date. It does not mean nothing exists.
• Confidence describes identity accuracy, NOT seriousness."High", "medium" or "low" says how sure the check is that a record or article concerns the person searched, based on the details it can compare. A low-confidence article may still report something serious; a high-confidence one may be minor.
• Names are searched exactly as typed. Spelling, transliteration and former names affect what is found.
• You can stop a pre-screening at any time. No further searches are sent and no report is shown. Searches already sent cannot be recalled.
• No warranty. The prototype is provided as it is, without any guarantee of availability or accuracy.

Names of public figures may appear in demonstrations because their information is published on official lists. Their appearance implies nothing beyond what those lists state.
